The New PicZip Twitter Image Script is now out
Our previous version of PicZip worked great and allowed many customers to run their image upload site with minimal load on server. It was through working with third party api we were able to create and run this script with minimal server running costs.
The bad news is that after 2 years or so, the api was changed and support removed by the third party company.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this this disruption of service. As the script previously relied on third party api, there was nothing that could of been done on our end to provide a suitable fix, except go back to the drawing board.
Goodbye third party api reliance
After listening to the feedback from our customers, we know we needed to make this new version not rely on third party services and instead work with our partners that we know and trust to provide the services needed.
PicZip now hosts all uploaded images on your server and works seamlessly with Twitter. Similar to services like twitpic or yfrog, you can upload an image directly to twitter (or not).

- Images are permanently saved
- Users can comment on images
- Users can vote on images
- SEO friendly url structure
You can purchase PicZip and install it right away. Be sure to tweet us before you buy for a special offer… ooohh.
